Mama to the Rescue "Where Are You?"

So Pagona is not the only "Mama" who gets involved in helping Lizzie. Her own Mama, Ashley, does. With strength, power and little help (eventually) from the Book of Zechariah, Leonardo Da Vinci and Michaelangelo.

See Mama to the Rescue Part 2 below. Originally this was one of the first portraits I did. It was of my daughter Ashley when she graduated way back when. She's a mom now too, and this painting is serving as a key part in the story of "Lizzie and the Magic Staircase." She's no longer looking for her future. She's looking for her baby. She's in danger.

And Mama's got to rescue her. And she will, but like every loving mother (and like God, our loving Father) she asks the question a parent almost inevitably finds themselves asking their children in a major way at some point: "Where Are You?"
